Materials Needed for Entire Program
1 16”×20” canvas
Acrylic paints:

primary/cadmium red
primary/cadmium yellow
primary/cobalt blue
black
titanium white
raw sienna
burnt sienna
raw umber
optional green, pthalo blue)
gloss gel medium (for adding to your paint to create transparent glazes - can also be matte medium)
1 Medium sized angle brush, 1 small square brush, 1 small round brush, (optional larger brush or other shapes/sizes you like)
1 or more old broken brush for vigorous dry brushing and texture
Cloth that can be used for slap painting (washcloth sized is good)
Plastic fork

Sponge or paper towels - for texture
Sketch paper and pencil
Piece of chalk to draw on canvas with
Gold or silver paint marker
Drop cloth to protect your floor from paint (unless you don't need it)


Optional Materials
Optional easel/table top easel (you can also paint flat on a table)
Optional small cup/jar for making liquid-y paint - an old tupperware works well
Optional latex gloves - if you don't want to feel paint on your hands
Optional: marble for painting - or other round object that will track paint
